「毎日楽しいの為に」 Flawless Passion
Last month, after walking around everywhere and checking out most of the hobby stores nearby, I started ordering things online that I couldn’t find or find cheaper in stores. As such, quite a bit of things came to me through the mail. And once again, this excludes the stuff I bought for my friends/family (although they may be shown in some photos).
Photos of the sets of stuff that I got together at once, either they came in together in a package, or my haul of a day’s shopping. I will quickly point out the things shown above that are not mine: HMM Command Wolf, 1 Nendoroid Taiga, Figma Kamineko, Miracle Rush CD, 1 Nendoroid Louise.
All together, here are what I bought during the month of May:
- HMM ブレードライガー Blade Liger
- MG ジンクス GN-X
- 1/8 ミルヒオーレ F. ビスコッティ Millhiore F. Biscotti
- ねんどろいど ルイズ Nendoroid Louise
- ねんどろいど 三日月夜空 Mikazuki Yozora
- ねんどろいど 七咲逢 Nanasaki Ai
- ねんどろいど 逢坂大河 [電撃屋特典付き] Aisaka Taiga [Dengekiya Bonus]
- 電撃G’s Festival! Comic Vol. 23
- 娘Type [May-12]
- 神のみぞ知るセカイ Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai Vol. 9, 12, 15
- かんなぎ Kannagi Vol. 3 – 6
- イカ娘缶ピンセット Ika Musume Aluminum Pin Set
- 雪ミク＆メイコ缶ピン Yuki Miku & Meiko Aluminum Pin
- MM! タベストリー MM! Tapestry
- ドラクリオット Gamers 特典タベストリー Dracu-Riot Gamers Bonus Tapestry

- ドラクリオット シャワータベストリー Dracu-Riot Shower Tapestry
- ドラクリオット おやすみCD Dracu-Riot Oyasumi CD
- + Various Free Pamphlets
From the all-together photo above, I’m sure that one of the first things that you want to see more clearly are the 2 covered tapestries so here they are. On the left is from the anime, MM! (which was originally a light novel), and on the right is from the eroge, Dracu-Riot. The Dracu-Riot tapestry is a bonus that you get if you buy the game at Gamers, but since I already bought the game elsewhere, I just bought the tapestry by itself at another place. It sure wasn’t cheap though…
I have always loved Zoids, and I had wanted a HMM zoid by Kotobukiya for a long time. Since Zoids is not as popular as Gundam is, it is really hard to get these HMM Zoids in the States without paying extravagant prices. Here in Japan though, it is a different story. I knew that I was going to buy one here, and I decided that the first one simply has to be the classic Blade Liger or Shield Liger. As you can see, I went with the Blade Liger.
(PS: My first Zoid ever was a Rev Raptor, which is that thing exploding in the background of the box art.)
The Nymph bed sheet, which at first, I was reluctant to get because I wanted the Ikaros one more (but they didn’t have it). After skipping out on it the first time and then having another chance to get it though, I snatched it right away. The reasons behind all of that were because I really liked Sora no Otoshimono, so I wanted to get something of it. Ikaros was more of the main character, so I wanted something of her more. Just around that time, I watched the last couple episodes and Nymph has surely won a place in my heart. I figured that having just Nymph was better than having neither.
All of the manga that I bought this month. Finally got all the volumes of Kannagi out so far, including the newest volume 7 (which I got last month). As for Kami nomi, I am getting different volumes here and there because I want the limited editions of some volumes.
Volume 12 of Kami nomi is the limited edition that comes with a steel bookmark. I also got really lucky with Kannagi vol. 6 because I was able to get the Animate/Gamers’s bonus cover jacket, while still having the regular cover jacket and for a cheap price. Super lucky! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ
Here are some aluminum button pins that I decided to buy for the first time ever. They were relatively expensive for their size and what they are. Although it wouldn’t be so bad if the currency rate wasn’t so low. They are cute, so I don’t regret it.
The 4 Nendoroids that I bought for myself: Louise, Mikazuki Yozora, Nanasaki Ai, and Aisaka Taiga. Nendoroid Yozora was really hard to track down (especially since I had to buy another for a friend). Louise was from the Hobby Stock exclusive re-release, and as a result, I paid full retail price + shipping… The Taiga that I got comes with the Dengekiya exclusive face part, which also meant that it was expensive. Only the Nanasaki Ai Nendoroid was bought at a nice price.
On the right, there is also a MG GN-X, which I have been searching for and finally found one at Sofmap.
In case you can’t tell, I love Gundam 00 and I actually want another MG GN-X.
Despite me wanting to watch Accel World even before the season started, I ironically cannot watch anime in Japan. Many stores in Japan were playing the same PV over and over again, and regrettably I cannot watch it until I get back to the States. The characters are cute enough though, so I bought this volume of Dengeki’s G Festival! Comic which comes with an extremely large shower tapestry.
All of the stuff in the photo above are from the eroge, Dracu-Riot. I have already talked about the tapestry and on top of it is another shower tapestry and an audio CD. The shower tapestry originally comes with the January 2012 issue of Dengeki Hime. I would much prefer to buy the magazine with the goods together, but as it would be really hard to track down an older issue of a fairly popular magazine, I just bought the goods by itself since I had to chance to. The audio, Oyasumi CD is a bonus that you get for preordering the game. Since I didn’t preorder, I just bought the CD by itself.
One might ask why I didn’t just preorder the game from certain stores to get the bonuses. The first issue was that I wasn’t in Japan at the time, so I couldn’t preorder. But luckily, I bought the game itself for a discount, so it makes up for the money going to the preorder bonuses. As for store bonuses, there are over 20 of them, each I do want, so I will buy those by itself given the chance and fair price.
Another magazine that I bought was the May 2012 issue of Nyan-Type, which comes with this nice 3D board. Depending on the angle you look at it, the girl’s outfit changes, including one where they have have an outfit. The magazine itself of course has a bunch of posters too.
Lastly, just like last month, I picked up a whole bunch of free pamphlets from the stores that I went to. What am I going to do with all of these pamphlets? As posters for my new apartment with friends next Autumn! Not sure how well things are going to go, but as a neat person that loves to make things appealing, I do plan on making our new apartment look nice.
Above is a video of the loots above. Some of the stuff can be seen better in the video perhaps. In June, I will have a few weeks left in Japan. With most of my money already spent and almost no space in my suitcases, I’m unsure of whether I will have any loots or not. Only time will tell!
