「毎日楽しいの為に」 Flawless Passion
December loots! Unlike last year, I did not pile up lots of stuff to have a massive Christmas loot. This year, it is just the stuff that arrived in December.
2 packages arrived and both are from AmiAmi, some stuff are mine and some are not. Interestingly, AmiAmi has started to include a small note saying ‘thank you and blablabla’, a waste of paper in my opinion.
This was what I had as my loot for December, until I went to Japantown and picked a magazine up.
So then my loots became like this, which are:
- ねんどろいど イカロス Nendoroid Ikaros
- ねんどろいど ニンフ Nendoroid Nymph
- とある魔術の禁書目録 マウスパッド Toaru Majutsu no Index II Mousepad
- とある化学の超電磁砲 下敷き Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Pencil Board
- きゃらスリープコレクション 黒猫 Chara Sleeve Collection – Kirino
- きゃらスリープコレクション 桐乃 Chara Sleeve Collection – Kuroneko
- インフィニットストラトス マルチクロスC Infinite Stratos Microfiber Cloth C
- コンプティーク Comptiq Vol. 400 (Dec. 2011)
I have just started to watch Sora no Otoshimono a little while ago and I am already really liking the series. I still haven’t open these 2, but I’m looking forward to it.
I hope that they will be making more Nendoroids from this series.
I really like the “Toaru” series and I seriously lack goods that shows off the series that I’m really into, so I decided to buy this mousepad (left) and pencil board (right). The illustrations are simply awesome! o(*^▽^*)o
In November, I started to try out Yu-Gi-Oh again, and that is a perfect excuse to buy some nice looking card sleeves to compliment them. In all reality, rather than playing seriously, I’m kind of aiming more towards getting nice card accessories. ^^;;
The other side is clear with a silver backing. These sleeves were made for Precious Memories, and with Yu-Gi-Oh being quite the smaller cards, these sleeves are quite big for them. The size is perfect though, if you put the cards in a Yu-Gi-Oh sized sleeve, then put that into these sleeves, which was exactly what I did.
This original Kirino illustration is really awesome, and if I’m correct, not many other goods will have this illustration on it. This means that it is kind of like a rare good. ^^
A little annoying thing though, is that to open the packaging, you have to tear through a label. I didn’t want to tear through the sticker, so I sliced it carefully and I got the card sleeves out perfectly fine.
For the current deck that I have, I shall be using Kuroneko. With a face that confident, there is no way I could lose. >:3
The card sleeves are very shiny and pretty too. ^^
In addition to started watching Sora no Otoshimono, I started to watch Infinite Stratos a little while ago as well. To be honest, I am not interested at all about the armor designs nor the story (hence why I didn’t watch it as it was airing). I have only decided to watch it when my friends told me that it turned into a harem (which they were disappointed about). As I was watching it, I was pretty bored until the 7th episode when the show takes the turn that I have been waiting for.
This microfiber cloth has my top 3 favorite characters (Laura & Charlotte tied for 1st, Houki 2nd), and with it being on discounted sale, I didn’t have any reason not to buy it. ^^;;
That was originally all of the loots that I had bought, until I visited Japantown with my old friends again. There, I picked up this magazine, Comptiq Vol. 400, which comes with a pillow cover opf Inui Sana from Mashiroiro Symphony. Before I show you the pillow cover, here is a video of me flipping through the magazine for those who are curious.
I have no idea why they made this pillow cover in 2 sides with the illustration split in half, instead of simply making a 1 sided dakimakura. Perhaps they wanted you to buy 2 copies of the magazine? Sure, I would. However, the opening where you put the pillow inside is on the wrong side. The tag that you can see in the photos above is the opening. You can’t just buy 2 of them and stick them on 2 sides of a long pillow, unfortunately.
Not too big of a deal even if you can’t put the 2 sides together; however, you can’t even put a pillow inside of it. The pillow cover is a little bit tinier than all of my pillows. If you try to put a normal sized pillow in, then you will find that it is a really tight fit. So what happens next is the photo above, it teared. Both the threads that holds the 2 sides and the pillow threads itself snapped and ripped. It just continued to spread across, and knowing absolutely nothing about fabrics, I resorted to using dabs of super glue. It seems ok now, but of course, there is a short white line across the sides, which is not that apparent from the front, thankfully.
