After slacking off for over a month, I slowly got back into updating this site and taking photos. I actually wrote down notes for a number of things that I did this month. Speaking of which, my monthly life posts are becoming more and more text-heavy…
On Nov. 8th, I went to SF Japantown to grab some manga from Kinokuniya. I really wanted to get them in October, but… I don’t live in Japan. *sigh*
On NicoNico Namahousou (live broadcast), one of my favorite broadcasters, Kurod, participated in the Japanese national tournament for the online game, Dragon’s Nest. I don’t know anything about the game, but he seemed pretty good, surprisingly. Ultimately, his team got 2nd place. Later on, he broadcasted his playthrough of Among The Sleep and The Evil Within (known as Psycho Break in Japan). His broadcasts are always funny to watch, not matter what he is playing, or doing.
Kivaleha, another broadcaster who sings, aired her last few broadcasts on her birthday on the 2nd. I mentioned her back in September, and it seems that she has worked out some of her problems and will be chasing her dream of being a seiyuu in Japan.
In Destiny, I tried hunting for the uncommon set of exotic bounties to get Pocket Infinity. However, the game will not give me the uncommon set no matter what. Iron Banner 2.0 also came around and I did fairly well. I was able to reach rank 5 and purchase all the gear, which I had to farm Glimmer for. I also randomly got Timur’s Lash 3 times. Those who have the DLC pass also got the new trick Sparrow, which was pretty nice but suspicious. Destiny sucked up too much time as always…
For my first real day at the Plastic Model club, I decided to start on my HMM Blade Liger there. It has been on my backlog for almost 2 years and I thought that it would be nice to bring some variety to the club, as everyone else builds Gundam except for one person who does military kits. There was another person who was building a Valvrave though. Sadly, since the club is on Sunday and I occasionally return home, combined with Thanksgiving break, I only got to visit the club a couple times before the term was over. I was able to build Blade Liger’s frame for the body and 2 legs, but I didn’t get the chance to show off any of my own completed models. My roommate though took his custom color Geara Zulu to the club. The club president also displayed some of his collection there, which includes a number of MG Unicorns, some Robot Damashii and even old Gundam X kits, which is his favorite series.
I continued working on my HMM Blade Liger even after the club. I completed the entire frame, bought a bunch of metallic spray paints for the frame, and got started on the armors beginning with the head. Didn’t really work on other models besides a bit on my custom OverFlag.
On the last day of November, I took the time to unbox my Haganai Nendoroids, as well as my Dog Days Figma. Finally, right? But Rinjin-bu is not complete just yet. I’m still hoping for Yukimura and Rika someday.
Anime that I continued watching this month were: Nekomonogatari Kuro, Steins;Gate and SAO II. I started Gochuumon ha Usagi desuka, Rinne no Lagrange, Gundam Build Fighters Try, and Date A Live II. I originally wanted to marathone Date A Live II, but I didn’t do so over Thanksgiving break and only got in a few episodes. On the other hand, I did finish rewatching Gundam Unicorn with my friend.
For manga I read Minamoto Monogatari and Shokugeki no Souma, where I learned how to make this half fried, half steamed egg thingy. It’s the first recipe that I was able to even make an attempt at from the manga.
I think I’m getting near the ending for BaldrSky and Ren’ai 0 Kilometer as I got to the H scenes. And I just remembered that I still have not reinstall Futsuu no Fantasy back onto my computer.
As December, and therefore Christmas, is approaching, I’m thinking about presents and my budget to spent this holiday season. Gundam Breaker 2 is coming out and I haven’t even finished the first game. I already forgot to buy Phantasy Star Nova. Ugh, I’m so behind on everything.
