So this month, I found out that one of my roommates is actually interested in Gundam and model kits, which he has a few of at home. That was a surprise because I had picked my roommates without any thoughts on their hobbies. He was watching Gundam Build Fighters when I noticed the OP song and talked to him about Gundam. It turns out that he hasn’t watched Gundam UC, so I begun to rewatch the series with him.
He enjoyed the first episode and purchased the HG Sinanju, as he is particularly fond of Zeonic designs. He also bought a HG Geara Zulu and Angeleo’s custom Geara Zulu. When he finished watching Build Fighters, he purchased the HG Crossbone Gundam Maou and its accessory set.
Finally meeting someone that likes models kits as well really encouraged me to re-engage with my halted projects. I resumed working on my custom 1/100 OverFlag in addition to bringing my 1/100 Gundam Nadleeh and HMM Blade Liger from home. Furthermore, I found that my university actually have a new plastic model club. Upon visiting the club, everyone there was building something while chatting. The president of the club also displayed some of his models. I enjoyed looking around and watching other people build their models.
Throughout the month, I played a lot of Destiny. I beat the Vault of Glass raid several times but never once received any raid armor. I shouldn’t be complaining though, because I have been receiving new exotic and raid weapons. Besides Destiny, I wanted to play other things too, but unfortunately I was only able to squeeze in a bit of time for BaldrSky.
I briefly mentioned this last month, but after my summer in Japan, I returned realizing that I doubled my manga collection. I have some glass planes that I wanted to build shelves with but don’t quite have the tools to. Instead, I was lucky to come across some nice shelves at an used goods store. I was able to move most of my manga to those shelves but not all.
Frustratingly, my PC was getting errors and corrupted files for no apparent reason. My computer was still functional, but it took a long time to start the PC up and somethings don’t work. To solve the problem, I backed up all my files and then I re-installed my OS. Everything was fine afterwards except that I realized that I lost my photos for September loots that I took in Japan…
I actually thought about quitting blogging. I’m so many months behind and I don’t have any motivation. However, I know that I will regret not recording my life down. I already regret not recording enough and forgot too many things as is. However late my posts will be, I’ll continue to push them out because they are important to me. My blog is more or less dead of readers. I don’t even have time for photoshoots, just my monthly life and loot posts.
Speaking of loot, I actually don’t have any this month. There are things that I want to purchase, namely some manga that just released, but I couldn’t get my hands on them within the month. I’m immediately reminded of why I want to live in Japan. At least my package that I sent from Japan arrived safely. They are old loot though.
