SF Japantown – March 30th, 2014

It was only just a month ago since the last time I went to SF Japantown. The reason why I came again so soon was completely due to how the release dates of certain manga that I wanted were spaced apart.
I would liked to have gotten all of the manga that I wanted in a single trip, but there was no way that Kinokuniya could have reserved the books for a month. And so here I am again to pick up some manga.
Last time I went alone, but this time I invited one of my friends. This friend of mine isn’t particularly interested in Japan, so I always appreciate it when he comes along. I imagine that it might not be as fun for him as it is for me.
Here are the books that I bought. A little more than I expected since I went with the intention of finding 3 books but I ended up with 5. On the shelf of Kinokuniya was a short stack of Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai Vol. 25 and the limited edition was hidden beneath 2 regular editions. A little pricy but I did rather not regret.
Most of our time was just spent in Kinokuniya looking at books. Since my friend is not interested Japan in particular, we stood next to the shelves of video game artbooks and talk about video games. After getting the books and walking around, we headed back home and I introduced him to Bungie’s new game Destiny on the way.
